Course Overview:
This course offers a foundational study of Islamic belief ('Aqeedah), addressing its significance and principles according to the understanding of the pious predecessors. It outlines the pillars of faith and Islam in the light of Hadith e Jibreel (علیہ السلام) and examines the core beliefs including belief in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and Divine Decree. The course also discusses shirk and its types, as well as the recognition and miracles of Awliyah Allah (friends of Allah).
Course Objectives:
To nurture and educate the students about the pillars of faith (Iman) and Islam.
To develop an understanding of the Names and Attributes of Allah in order to highlight His greatness and clarify the correct belief regarding them.
To cultivate a strong attachment to the pillars of Iman and teach how to implement them practically.
Learning Outcomes:
On completing this course, students will:
Gain knowledge of the correct Islamic creed according to the understanding of the pious predecessors.
Be able to appreciate the greatness of Islam through understanding the virtues and characteristics of the Islamic creed.
Be able to identify false ideologies and gain awareness of the misleading doubts propagated by deviant groups.
